You can see the bolts in her jaw that are holding it together (and open). She's going to be stuck in this miserable state, with her jaw wired open, tongue hanging out and drooling, for at least the next several weeks.
My kitty needed the neck-tube arrangement when her liver failed. If yours is like mine (and her jaw is healed enough) she will bathe herself with a never-before-seen enthusiasm when the turtleneck bandage comes off.
I hope Savannah (a.k.a. Frankenkitty) is doing well! This kitty has a lot of hope and I am sorry I was not able to help more. Thanks for being awesome people.
