It Never Rains, But It Pours

Tried to go in for my first day of new department manager training/orientation today. Operative word there is tried. The Car wouldn't start. The Car has a dead battery, for reasons which elude me at the present time, since nothing obvious like the lights were left on.

Not only have I missed my first day, but I'll likely be buying a new battery (at minimum).

Joy.

Found me a Job

It's not my ideal, but I'll be working at a local retail store as a manager, at least for a little while. The money's good and I know I can do retail management, but it's not what I want to be doing.

Art on the Walls, part 1

Original artwork from Adam Hughes and Alan Davis. Two of my favorite pieces. More artwork is shown below, although some of what's shown is not in the same place anymore. I rotate them when I get new art. ;) Posted by Hello

Art on the Walls, part 3

Artwork from Cully Hamner and Ben Dunn. Posted by Hello

Art on the Walls, part 2

More original artwork - from Phil Noto, Jeff Moy and Georges Jeanty. Posted by Hello

Art on the Walls, part 4

The Office

Slightly out-of-date - the desk is further to the left, now. That's a Matrix Sentinel from McFarlane Toys hanging from the ceiling, a plush Cthulhu driving all of the other plush toys mad, and part of my collection of Star Wars LEGO toys.

Action Figures

Yes, I also collect action figures. The upper shelf, as of now. I need to get some more to fill this out. Posted by Hello
